Adjust feeding amounts as necessary to maintain optimal weight. Reinforce with clients to feed Prescription Diet dry food, canned food, & Hill's treats exclusively. This is only a guide. Grams are the most accurate form of measurement. Monitoring your patient's condition will assure the nutritional recommendation provides the best results. Gradually transition to this new food for 7 days or more.
